"The training was intense, and sometimes I questioned what I'd signed up for. But week by week I felt stronger, not just physically but mentally. By fight night it wasn't about winning or losing. It was about proving to myself that I could commit to something and see it through."Chrisia
"I quit my job in the financial industry to be a personal trainer, so I do a lot of weightlifting and running but the best part about camp so far has been the people, you all feel like you're in the same boat. It's a great community."James
"The best experience of my life (along with my wedding)"Matt
Every number below came from ordinary people who signed up not knowing how to throw a jab.
Your name, number, and boxing or Muay Thai. It takes two minutes.
Come to the intro meeting, meet the coaches and ask anything. Camp places open by email afterwards.
Two sessions a week, plus optional Strength & Conditioning. Sparring in weeks 5 and 6. The fight card drops in week 7.
The lights drop, your music hits and 1,000+ people are on their feet. Eight weeks ago you'd never thrown a punch.

£690,000
Raise for our charity partner, CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably), or any charity close to your heart.
We'll show you how at the intro meeting. Donations go straight to the charity, never through us.
That's the minimum, not the target. The top fundraiser wins a 12-month Gymbox membership.
Our charity partner, Campaign Against Living Miserably, runs a helpline and webchat with highly trained, paid staff. It's for anyone who needs it, for all of life's problems, by phone, webchat and WhatsApp. £8 can fund a potentially life-saving chat on CALM's helpline.

White collar boxing is boxing for people with day jobs and little or no fight experience. You train for eight weeks, get matched with someone of a similar age, weight and experience, and fight on a professional show in full protective kit. We run white collar boxing and Muay Thai in London.
Yes. Muay Thai is often called Thai Boxing in the UK. On our shows it's punches, kicks and knees, with no elbows, no knees to the head, and one grab and knee in the clinch.
Yes, the coaching is free. You pay a £100 Fight Camp Deposit when you register for camp after the intro meeting, and you get it back after fight night once you've fought and sold your tickets.
Fight camp is free because ticket sales on fight night pay for it. Places are limited, so the deposit makes sure every place goes to someone who'll train, fight and sell their tickets. You get your £100 back within 5 working days of fight night, once you've fought and hit both ticket targets.
100% of ticket revenue goes towards fight camp and the running of the show. That's how the coaching stays free.
No. 85% of our fighters have less than three months' experience when they sign up. If you've trained a bit and want to take the next step into the ring, you're just as welcome. Everyone is matched on age, weight and experience.
Send them to our tickets page. At checkout they choose the fighter they're supporting, and that ticket counts towards your 15.
Muay Thai at Gymbox Farringdon on Mondays at 18:00 and Wednesdays at 19:00. Boxing at Gymbox Victoria on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 19:30. There's also an optional Strength & Conditioning session on Saturdays at 13:30 at Gymbox Victoria (studio side).
Yes. Train with your own coach near home, then come to London for team sparring and fight night. Pick "With my own coach" when you sign up. Your coach needs their own insurance, only one outside coach can be in your corner, and you must attend all team sparring sessions.
Gloves and wraps, a head guard, a gum shield and a groin guard, plus shin guards if you’re doing Muay Thai. Bring your own from week 1 for training and sparring. On fight night you'll use your own kit if our team checks it's safe. If it isn't, we provide gloves.
Safety is built into every step. You're matched on age, weight and experience with no more than 5kg between you, and you have a medical before your fight and another after it. Every bout is fought in 16oz gloves (14oz under 55kg) with head, shin and groin guards, with professional referees and medics ringside.
Our coaching is free. You pay a £100 Fight Camp Deposit when you register for camp after the intro meeting, sell 15 tickets to your friends, family and colleagues (10 of them by week 3), and raise at least £50 for charity. The deposit comes back after fight night once you've fought and hit both ticket targets.
You don't need to be fit to start. Week 1 opens with an assessment and an introduction to fight-specific fitness, and the conditioning builds every week up to fight night.
Yes. Around 30% of our fighters are women, in both boxing and Muay Thai, and everyone is matched on age, weight and experience.
Three rounds of two minutes. You'll have practised exactly that in simulated bouts during camp.
No. Every match is made by our coaches, based on age, weight and experience, and 96% of fighters spar their opponent before fight night.
Two kinds of fight night. Black tie is tables, table service and Art Deco glamour at The Lighthouse in Camberwell. Backyard Bouts is raw and underground, with the crowd pressed right up to the ring.
With us. You train free at Gymbox Victoria or Gymbox Farringdon, fight on one of our London shows, and raise money for our charity partner CALM or a charity that means something to you.

Yes, with an adult. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The afterparty is strictly 18+, so anyone under 18 must leave by 11pm.
It depends on the show. Our black tie nights at The Lighthouse are black tie or similar. Backyard Bouts are raw and underground, and each one has its own theme, announced with the show.
