These terms apply when you register for a White Collar Fight Club fight camp and fight night. Please read them before you pay your Fight Camp Deposit. By registering, you agree to them.
1. Who can fight
- You must be 18 or over by fight night.
- You must complete our health questionnaire (PAR-Q) and waiver yourself, honestly and in full, before camp starts. Tell us about anything relating to your physical or mental health that could affect your training or fight, including pregnancy.
- If anything on your health questionnaire changes, or turns out to be wrong, tell us in writing straight away.
- You agree to the medical checks we run, including blood pressure checks at sparring and medicals before and after your fight. If our medical team or coaches decide it is not safe for you to spar or fight, their decision is final.
2. Your £100 Fight Camp Deposit
- You pay a Fight Camp Deposit of £100 by week 2 of camp. It secures your place and your commitment to the programme, and is refundable on the conditions below.
- We refund it in full when all three of these are met:
- you take part fully in fight night
- you have sold at least 10 tickets by week 3 of camp
- you have sold at least 15 tickets before fight night
- We process refunds within 5 working days of fight night.
- If you drop out of the programme or do not meet the ticket targets, you lose your Fight Camp Deposit.
3. Ticket sales
- You agree to sell at least 15 tickets, using our ticket page and the marketing material we provide.
- Ticket buyers choose the fighter they are supporting at checkout, which is how we count your sales.
- All ticket revenue goes towards running the fight camp and the show. It is not a charity donation.
4. Fundraising
- You agree to raise at least £50 for our charity partner CALM, or for a charity that means something to you, using the fundraising platform we recommend.
5. Training and sparring
- Camp sessions are free. You can only use our partner gyms during our designated camp sessions, unless you already have your own membership.
- You must attend our team sparring sessions in weeks 5 and 6 to be considered for a fight. If you miss them, we can refuse you a place on the card and your Fight Camp Deposit is not refunded.
- If you train with your own coach instead of at camp, your coach must have their own insurance, only one outside coach can be in your corner on fight night, and you must attend all team sparring sessions.
6. If you withdraw
- If you withdraw from the show, you lose your Fight Camp Deposit.
- If you have to withdraw because of an injury in the first 6 weeks of camp and can show us valid medical evidence, tell us as soon as you can. Ticket holders supporting you may then be entitled to a refund under our ticket terms.
7. Matching and your place on the card
- Our coaches match every bout on age, weight and experience, with no more than 5kg between opponents. You do not choose your opponent.
- We do everything we can to find you a fair match, but we cannot guarantee a bout.
- We can remove you from the card if you do not meet the ticket targets, miss compulsory sparring, behave badly during camp, are not medically fit, or we cannot find you a safe match.
- From your third fight with us, you compete for a winner's belt.
8. Kit and safety
- You must bring your own kit from week 1: gloves and wraps (16oz, or 14oz if you are under 55kg), an open-face head guard, a properly fitted gum shield and a groin guard, plus shin guards if you are doing Muay Thai.
- Full-face head guards are not allowed on fight night. Cheek protectors are fine.
- On fight night we check your kit. You will use your own kit if our team decides it is safe. If it is not, we provide gloves.
- Every bout is three rounds of two minutes, with professional referees and medics ringside.
9. Conduct
- Treat coaches, staff, venue teams, other fighters and your opponent with respect, in the gym and on fight night.
- Follow the instructions of the coaches, referees and medical team at all times.
10. Photography and filming
- Camp sessions and every fight night are photographed and filmed. By registering, you agree that we can use photos and footage of you to promote our camps and shows, including on our website, social media and YouTube.
- You receive professional fight photos and footage of your bout after fight night.
- If you would rather not appear in promotional material, tell us before camp starts and we will do our best to leave you out.
11. Risk and liability
- Boxing and Muay Thai are contact sports and carry a risk of injury. We work hard to keep that risk low, but we cannot remove it.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
12. General
- We use your information as described in our privacy policy.
- If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
