Cookie policy

Last updated 23 October 2026

The short version

We only set analytics cookies if you click Accept on our cookie banner. If you click Reject, or have not chosen yet, we still count visits to the site, but without saving anything on your device. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website saves on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels, work in a similar way. This policy covers all of them.

What we use

Name and purposeWhen and how long
wcfc_consent (local storage). Remembers whether you accepted or rejected cookies, so we do not ask again.Always, once you choose. Kept until you clear your browser data.
ph_…_posthog (cookie and local storage), from PostHog, our analytics provider. Recognises your browser across visits so we can see which pages help people decide to sign up, and records how the site is used (clicks, scrolling and page views) so we can fix what confuses people. Anything you type into a form is hidden from these recordings.Only if you click Accept. Up to 1 year.
_ga, _ga_… (cookies), from Google Analytics. Counts visits and shows which pages and adverts bring people to the site.Only if you click Accept. Up to 2 years.
_fbp (cookie), from the Meta Pixel. Tells us when someone who saw one of our Facebook or Instagram adverts goes on to sign up, so we know which adverts work and stop paying for the ones that do not.Only if you click Accept. Up to 90 days.

PostHog stores its data in the EU. If you have not accepted, PostHog still receives an anonymous record of the pages you visit, kept in your browser’s memory only and forgotten when you leave, and Google Analytics receives a cookieless signal that a visit happened, with no identifier that links it to you.

If this changes

If we add more analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy first and ask for your permission before they set any cookies.
